Professional Engineers License (California) Awarded January 2002. Certification as a Professional Engineer requires satisfactory completion of an eight hour exam covering the field of Electrical Engineering. There are also requirements for experience and education. Certification allows use of the legally restricted title of Consulting Engineer. Certification demonstrates proficiency over a broad part of the field of Electrical Engineering. For you, the client, this is important because I take a global view of your task and identify and apply the skill or specialty which provides the best solution.
